Maplin has been announced as a stockist for Prestigio’s range of mobile devices, with the MultiPhone being the first smartphone that Maplin has sold.
With Prestigio’s MultiPad range already in store, the MultiPhone smartphone series will follow later this month.
The MultiPads available from Maplin feature Wi-Fi and 3G models and range from 8-inch at £99 to 10.1-inch at £169.
The MultiPhones are already available online from Maplin and include the MultiPhone 5430 with Intel Inside, launched by Prestigio in August.
"As the UK’s biggest retailer of specialist consumer electronics, having Maplin as a stockist will greatly support our MultiPhone and MultiPad ranges. Both are increasing in popularity since their launch in the UK, and the fact that Maplin has never sold smartphones before is a huge testament to the quality of our products and our brand as a whole," said Martin MacNamara, UK sales director for Prestigio.
