Target has debuted its new ShopTalk IT Reseller Awards at the distributor’s annual Open Day.
The ceremony celebrated the work of independent IT resellers and their role on the British High Street, with no voting influence from either Target or its vendors.
Nominations came from the resellers themselves and the winners were voted for entirely by their peers – other independent IT resellers.
The awards ceremony was hosted and compèred by Target’s managing director, Paul Cubbage, with the awards themselves presented to winners by Target staff members.
The night’s winners were:
Best Use of PR/ Media Coverage – Gbiz IT Computers
Best Shop Window – Diamond Media UK Limited
Most Innovative/ Original Service Offering – Disc Co.
Business Innovation – Diamond Media UK Limited
Best Marketing/ Promotional Campaign – Grantham Computer Centre
Best Shop Layout – Universal Computing
Best Internal Retail Display – Airedale Computers
Best Use of an A-Board – Senior Computers
Best Event – Airedale Computers
Best Website – Colley Gate Computers
