Render of Amazon’s new Kindle Fire leaked

What appears to be an official render of a Kindle Fire update has made its way online.

@evleaks has allegedly come across one of Amazon’s official press images, showing what appears to be the non-HD model of the firm’s latest tablet.

The render matches some previous leaked info such as bezel size, but doesn’t show a front-facing camera – which Amazon introduced with the Kindle Fire HD.

The new model is rumoured to have a 2,560 x 1,600 resolution and run Android 4.2.2.

Earlier this month, Amazon revealed its sixth-gen Kindle Paperwhite e-reader, which will launch on October 9th with a price tag of £109.
