The device will be priced at £59.99 and will be completely unlocked enabling use on all mobile networks.
The exclusive availability on eBay means that the affordable smartphone will be more widely accessible to consumers worldwide.
The Firefox Operating System – which allows users to pay for apps on their phone bill – uses the web as a platform for all functionality and applications, freeing developers, operators and consumers from the restrictions of current closed ecosystems. eBay will exclusively sell the device in orange.
