AOC introduces new ’69 series’ monitors with Android smartphone and tablet connectivity

AOC has unveiled its new IPS monitor series which includes MHL connectivity to hook up Android gadgets and directly display their contents in Full HD.

The range, called the ‘69 series’, includes six new displays ranging from 21.5-inches to 27-inches and is aimed at home users and small offices.

All monitors are Full HD and utilise mercury-free WLED backlights. The new Advanced High Performance IPS panels ensure impressive colour fidelity with viewing angles of up to 178-degrees both vertically and horizontally.

The IPS 3D models in particular cater to the requirements of gamers and multimedia users with their flicker-free 3D functionality and lightweight polarised 3D glasses. Users can also displaying 2D content in 3D by simply pressing the hot key on the front of the bezel.

Depending on the model, as well as a MHL port, the range features the ability to connect to multiple signal sources via D-Sub, DVI-D, HCDP-compatible DHMI and the integrated DisplayPort.
