Panda Security appoints Charlotte Shone and launches Renewal Share Programme

Panda hires retail account manager to head up new reward scheme

Cloud security firm Panda Security has appointed Charlotte Shone as its new Retail Account Manager.

Shone will be working as part of Panda’s external account management team focusing on building Panda Security relations with retailers and system builders. She will also lead the new Renewal Share Programme which rewards Panda’s partners.

She boasts experience in software and retail, and has a degree in English Literature from Middlesex University.

The news comes as Panda Security is offering resellers the chance to share in the renewal sales of its antivirus and security products. Retail partners who recommend Panda to their customers are rewarded after the initial sale year after year, via their individual Renewal Fee Code (RFC). Shone said: “We appreciate that many of our partners already register their own customers using ad-hoc systems and contact them when new updates are available, however the Panda Renewal Share Programme offloads this management task, freeing up time, while ensuring the partner receives commission automatically whenever their customer renews.
