IT distributor Varlink has announced two senior appointments within sales and marketing.
Michelle Spencer (right) has been promoted to the newly created position of Head of Sales for the combined Varlink and EPoS Distributor Sales function, while Emma Phillips (left) has been promoted to Marketing & Alliances Manager for Varlink and EPoS Distributor.
Spencer joined Varlink as Business Development Manager in 2009 and has been responsible for establishing EPoS Distributor as a significant supplier of Posiflex, PartnerTech, Bixolon and Orient products to retail system providers in the UK.
Phillips joined the firm in 2010 as Brand Marketing Executive for Zebra printers. She recently devised and introduced Varlink’s Alliance Programme which enables IT Resellers to gain access to products and services outside of Varlink’s product range.
Varlink CEO Mike Pullon said: “We are delighted to have been able to make these senior appointments by promoting from within. Michelle will be working closely with the board to ensure that Varlink retains its reputation as a successful distributor that exceeds the expectations of customers and suppliers.
