PC gaming peripherals firm Roccat Studios has launched the new Kone Pure Optical mouse (€69.99) and Sense Meteor Blue mousepad (€19.99) to retail.
The Kone Pure Optical is the optical version of its award- winning Kone Pure gaming mouse. It is 91 per cent of the size of the Kone, has a Pro-Optic (R3) optical sensor, Omron switches, plus Easy-Shift[+], Easy-Aim, and Roccat Talk features, plus a top-end sensor with DPI adjustable up to true 4,000 DPI.
It’s the latest product from Roccat celebrating five years since the original Kone was created.
Roccat is also launching the Sense Meteor Blue ultra-thin 2mm mousepad, following on from the original Sense which entered the market in 2008.
Roccat says the pad provides "precise cursor control allowing for absolute accuracy". The micro- crystalline coating minimizes frictional resistance, while the 400x280mm large surface area ensures the pad is optimised for low and high-sensitivity gamers. It’s also available in Chrome Blue.
Roccat founder and CEO René Korte commented: “The new sensor featured in the Kone Pure Optical is the successor to the sensor featured in the famous Savu mouse. The Savu drew plaudits from gamers and reviewers alike, who complimented the mouse for its accurate and reliable tracking. Building on this success, the Kone Pure Optical has a new and more powerful MCU, which features more memory, and two new native DPI steps.”
