Capcom will also launch latest fighting game on Xbox 360 and PS3.

Ultra Street Fighter IV hits PC in 2014

Ultra Street Fighter IV – the next instalment in Capcom’s popular Street Fighter game series – will arrive on PC early next year.

This follows on from 2009 hit Street Fighter IV, 2010’s Super Street Fighter IV and 2011’s Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition.

The new Ultra game features five new characters, six new stages and a few more modes and features announced at a later date, reports MCV

New characters include Poison, Hugo, Elena, Rolento, and an all-new unannounced character, bringing the current roster count to 44. The fresh stages are as follows: Pitstop 109, Mad Gear Hideout, Cosmic Elevator, Blast Furnace, Half Pipe and Jurassic Era Research Facility.

For owners of Super Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition, they will have access to a cheaper digital upgrade version of Ultra Street Fighter IV.

But for retailers, there is a full physical release, too.

The game is due for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
