iPad Mini 2 release may be delayed due to Retina Display debate

Apple is reportedly still debating whether to give the iPad Mini 2 Retina Display.

While some rumours point to the iPad Mini 2 likely being fitted with Retina Display, DigiTimes reports that Apple is still considering whether to adopt it for the device.

Unnamed sources told the site that if the tablet does include Retina Display, its release may be delayed until the end of the fourth quarter.

Apple is expected to announce the iPad 5 in September, along with the iPad Mini 2 as well as the iPhone 6 and the budget iPhone – which some suggest may be the iPhone 5S.

The iPad Mini 2 is rumoured to have a dual core A7 processor and a ten-hour battery life.
