Kim Dotcom launches Mega Android app

Kim Dotcom has launched an Android app for his Mega cloud storage platform.

The app is an acquisition of an unofficial third-party client that Dotcom relauched into his New Zealand-based Mega project.

The app allows users to browse, upload and download cloud-stored files via their Android devices. They can also automatically upload photos and videos to their accounts.

Mega has said that both iOS and Windows apps are on the way and currently in their last stages of testing.

Kim Dotcom launched Mega earlier this year – his return to file hosting following the closure of Megaupload at the beginning of 2012.
