No, Kanye

Is Kanye West the new Steve Jobs?

Of course not. But the rapper believes that now Jobs has passed away it’s his time to become ‘Steve of internet’.

I say ‘rapper’…I just heard a Kanye West song on the radio that sounded like someone auto-tuned the fuck out of a conversation between a sleepy whale and Piglet from Winnie The Pooh.

In a recent interview with The New York Times, the ‘rapper’ said ‘what Kanye West is going to mean is something similar to what Steve Jobs means’.

“I am undoubtedly, you know, Steve of Internet, downtown, fashion, culture. Period. By a long jump. I honestly feel that because Steve has passed, you know, it’s like when Biggie passed and Jay-Z was allowed to become Jay-Z.”

Yep, he actually said that.

After waffling on a lot about how he is soon to become one of the most culturally influential people of our time West ends the interview by claiming: “I will be the leader of a company that ends up being worth billions of dollars, because I got the answers. I understand culture. I am the nucleus.”

I simply cannot wait to see Kanye bring a company from near bankruptcy to profitability or pioneer the next generation of personal computers. I hope they all come with free auto-tune software…
