Entatech hit the road this week to take their EntaLive roadshow to Swindon, which saw retailers and resellers alike get a look at the latest technologies from the distributor’s key vendors.
Taking place at Intel’s HQ, a variety of Entatech’s gaming and component vendors, including the likes of Microsoft, Zotac, ASUS, Mad Catz, Kingston, PNY and Fractal Design were in attendance to showcase their latest products.
In addition to its expo component, the event saw vendors host individual Q&A presentations, providing Entatech customers with the opportunity to take in what was on offer and discuss the latest products, technologies and services.
Headline partner Microsoft presented both its Windows 8 operating system and Office 2013 suite to those in attendance, stressing the benefits of stocking the products, whilst advising resellers on how they’re able to encourage customers to adopt the new products.
With vendors delivering to a near-capacity crowd, Entatech heralded the day as another success, beneficial for vendors and dealers alike.
“Yet again EntaLive has been a great success. We’ve received an overwhelmingly positive response from our delegates, which I believe is thanks to the fantastic demonstrations and presentations carried out by our exhibiting vendors,” said Kate Fuller, Entatech marketing manager.
“They were inundated with questions regarding system building and the latest technologies and a vast majority have enquired as to when we will be holding our next event, which I think is a testament to the strength of these events.”
Meanwhile fellow headliner Intel, who hosted the event at its Swindon-based HQ, took the opportunity to better educate resellers on the firm recently refreshed CPU offering and the availability of the fourth-generation I-series Haswell processors.
“It was great to see so many of Entatech’s resellers at Intel for their EntaLive event. We were delighted to host the day, and it was a perfect platform for us to present the latest updates and details on our NUC and 4th Generation Intel Core processors and systems,” said Matt Birch, channel sales UKI, Intel.
Entatech account managers were on hand throughout the day to advise customers and raise awareness of the distributor’s value-added services, including Entatech’s recently launched Plug&Play initiative. The scheme provides pre-built kits, which are built-in house and aim to reduce the difficulty of self-building PCs.
Following a free lunch, attendees were treated to a host of freebies including a year’s subscription to Microsoft’s Office 365.
All dealers present were entered into a prize draw for a chance to win a new Intel NUC, along with a custom-made PC worth £1,000, built with components from Entatech’s various vendors.
