Sainsbury’s has announced that it will roll out its new phone shops across its fleet of over 400 supermarkets.
The news follows the success of Sainsbury’s six pilot phone shops and the company has revealed a phone shop website is also on the cards to provide an online backup for the stores.
The modern looking shops are said to have received positive feedback from customers who apparently say they ‘feel like they are pounced on in the high street stores, whereas in here they feel like they can ask questions and get lots of help without felling pressured.’
In a bid to take on other supermarkets such as Tesco and Asda, Sainsbury’s has launched a number of aggressive deals including the Samsung Galaxy S4 on a 24 month contract with O2, including 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB of data for £32 a month.
The supermarket has also finalised a deal with Apple to supply the iPhone later this summer alongside networks such as O2, Three, Orange T-Mobile and Vodafone.
2,500 Nectar points will also be dealt out to customers signing a contract with Sainsbury’s, giving more incentive for people to use the services.
