Selfridges to convert Oxford Street forecourt into drive-thru service

The retailer will launch a drive-thru click-and-collect service so customers can collect products without having to leave their cars.

Set to launch early next year, Retail Week reports that Selfridges will convert the forecourt space off the side of its Oxford Street store so customers can collect products that they have ordered online.

The London store will offer 30 minutes of free parking for shoppers to collect their orders.

Orders made online before 4pm will be available for collection as soon as the store opens the next day. The service will launch at Oxford Street this week, with three more stores following on May 9th.
