Apple’s next gen iPhone could come in five colours

iPhone 5S to launch in August in a number of colours

Japanese website Macotakara has released a report suggesting that Apple’s next iPhone will come in five colours.

The site believes that the iPhone 5S as well as Apple’s rumoured cheaper iPhone will both be available in a variety of colours, including the original black and white.

This would mean the iPhone is finally following in the footsteps of Apple’s range of iPods which are now available in numerous colours including black, white, yellow, blue and pink. Its 5th gen iPod even has a special edition version in red.

Macotakara also reports that the new handset will be announced in July, with a release in August. This is in keeping with a number of other rumours suggesting we will see Apple’s next gen iPhone in the summer.
