Where and when: Wednesday May 29th at The Brewery, London
What is it? A conference and expo for 250 top tech retailers
I’m a retailer or reseller, how do I go? Sign up for free at www.pcrbootcamp.com.
What’s the theme? Connecting with customers. Listen to industry experts during the conference and visit key tech vendors during the expo to find out how to connect to your clients – and how to sell to them.
Who’s speaking: Former director general of the British Retail Consortium Stephen Robertson has been named as the keynote speaker at this year’s Boot Camp. Also speaking on the day is search engine specialist John Straw, talking about promoting your store through Google Maps, and more speakers are to be confirmed shortly. There will also be two panels on connecting with customers, covering topics from store layout to social media.
How do I justify a day out of the office? Aside from the valuable information at the conference and expo, all delegates will get opportunities to network at the free lunch and after-show party at the Chiswell Street Dining Rooms, where they’ll also receive a VIP goody bag including a Jabra Bluetooth speaker worth £150.
Where’s the after-show party? The after-show party is returning to the exclusive Chiswell Street Dining Rooms, with free drinks on arrival and later a pay bar until 10pm, as well as a VIP goody bag including Jabra Solemate for every delegate.
Tell me more about the free gift for delegates:
All retailers and resellers who attend will receive a Jabra Solemate worth £150. It’s a compact Bluetooth speaker, with a durable design that’s dust and splash resistant, which means you can take it anywhere, from the beach to a party to the kitchen. The rubber sole which gives the speaker its name is non-slip as a bonus. It provides strong, deep bass from an integrated subwoofer and rich, vibrant acoustics from dual tweeters.
The Solemate connects to your smartphone, MP3 player, tablet, laptop or anything that can play music using Bluetooth, a 3.5 mm audio cable or USB cable. Bluetooth 3.0 technology works up to 33 feet away, so you can DJ the party from across the room. Connect it to your phone and you’ve got your own personal speakerphone.
Which companies will be exhibiting? Many more will be added to the line-up before the big day, but currently at the expo are: Microsoft (Headline partner), Entatech, Westcoast (Platinum), plus Hama, Wasp, TP-LINK, KMS Components, Hannspree, Philips, AOC, SanDisk and Synaxon (Gold).
How do I exhibit at PCR Boot Camp? If you want to join the ranks of Microsoft, Philips, Westcoast and many more, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
