Specialist memory distributor Simms International has been presented with the Investors in People Gold award.
The Kent-based firm says the award reflects its long-standing commitment to staff development and training – the Gold is given to just 3.2 per cent of organisations in the UK.

To achieve Gold, Simms needed to meet a total of 165 or more different standards, including 39 core accreditation standards. This award celebrates those that perform beyond the core Investors in People Standard. The Standard provides a solid foundation for further growth and development and is awarded to well-run organisations which meet set criteria, including learning and development, leadership skills and recognition and reward of staff amongst others.
