The Grand Prix Award is the biggest accolade of the night and honours a company or brand which has had an outstanding past twelve months.
It is has certainly been one busy year for Samsung.
Last year, the firm became the world’s largest mobile phone manufacturer. But it doesn’t just make phones – it also makes laptops, cameras, TVs, memory and accessories, covering every part of the electronics business.
Described by some as the breakthrough brand of 2012, it continues to innovate in the computing space. It’s created a highly desirable brand in Galaxy, in fact its new Galaxy S4 flagship smartphone was unveiled last night in New York at almost the exact same time as Samsung won their PCR Grand Prix Award in London.
