But it’s unlikely that the stores will reopen

Dragon’s Den star Peter Jones buys Jessops

The Jessops brand and other assets have been sold to a number of buyers including entrepreneur Peter Jones.

According to the BBC, the Dragon’s Den star is part of a deal that will see the Jessops brand sold on for an undisclosed sum, along with other key assets including leftover stock, patents and intellectual property.

Unfortunately, it’s thought that stores are not likely to reopen as a result of the deal.

However, Jones’ personal website says he has an enthusiasm for “fresh approaches to established industries”, which raises hopes for a return from Jessops in some other form.
