Vendor will showcase latest products and offer training sessions on-site

PCR Boot Camp: Microsoft to headline this summer’s event

Microsoft is using this year’s PCR Boot Camp to give dealers the tools to fight back against tough trading conditions.

As Headline Partner of the event, the software and hardware giant will provide hands-on experience and information on its latest products, and will also run training sessions in association with training partner Entatech.

After a successful debut last year, PCR Boot Camp returns on Wednesday May 29th to The Brewery, London. Retailers and resellers can find out more and register online for free at www.pcrbootcamp.com.

Alexandria Ball, channel marketing manager, OEM, Microsoft UK, said: “I personally attended PCR Boot Camp last year and was keen to see the variety of retailers and resellers that were in attendance.

“The event was well structured, ensuring every delegate got something out of the day, whether it was peer interaction over drinks or learning about the latest IT tech during one of the seminars. It’s great that PCR has taken the initiative to deliver these events, which provide value for customers and vendors alike.

“We are really excited to be involved, and to be at the show, working alongside our distribution partners to deliver more in-depth training to resellers.

“We at Microsoft have had significant and exciting product launches over the last six months, and these new launches would not have been successful without the passion and drive of our partners. We hope that with these new products we have enabled our partners to make more opportunities and build value with their customers.

“This event gives Microsoft and its partners the chance to meet and help support our customers.”

PCR Boot Camp is aimed at maximising sales and giving practical advice that you can take away to improve your business.

A conference session in the morning of May 29th will focus on Connecting with Customers, with industry experts such as the BRC’s former director general Stephen Robertson and search engine specialist John Straw giving talks on the latest issues.

Then after a free lunch, an Expo and Break-out Sessions in the afternoon will provide an opportunity for tech dealers to talk directly to vendors and distributors. The day finishes off with an After-Show Drinks Reception, where dealers can get their VIP Gift Bags.

The UK’s top 250 retailers are set to attend the event – interested dealers can register for free at www.pcrbootcamp.com/dealer-registration.

Along with Microsoft, other Partners this year so far include EntaTech (Platinum), plus TP-Link, Wasp and Hama (Gold).
