Dixons takes on 500 ex-Comet staff

Dixons Retail offered around 500 former Comet workers full time employment after temporarily taking on 1,000 staff members over the Christmas period.

According to ERT Online, the retailer has retained around 250 sales floor employees and another 250 dedicated white goods repair staff.

In addition to this, the company has acquired a portion of Comet’s vehicle fleet, which will be rebranded and incorporated in to the Repair & Protect arm of Dixons’ Knowhow service.
