Brand makes the jump from boutique vendor to PC vendor

iBuyPower unleashes Revolt gaming PC

The firm has made the jump from system boutique vendor to PC vendor with the announcement of its Revolt custom PC at CES in Las Vegas.

iBuyPower is hoping to make a splash with its custom gaming system, with a push into retail on the cards, alongside wide availability and low pricing.

Fully custom built, the Revolt’s base model starts at $649 and packs a custom case with an iBuyPower designed ASRock motherboard, alongside Intel’s flagship i3 processor, mechanical HDD and GeForce GTX 650.

Consumers can opt for a number of upgraded versions of the Revolt with a middle of the pack edition packing an i5-3570K and GeForce GTX 660 for $899, or an all-out performance machine, powered by an i7-3770K processor, GeForce GTX 680 and SSD for $1,399.

Offering both high performance and budget priced editions of the Revolt, iBuyPower is set to compete with the likes of Alienware.

With pre-orders available now, the Revolt is set to ship in February.
