A new deal between the two firms will see Regus Business Hubs open within Staples stores across the UK.
The drop-in facilities will offer on-the-go workers a professional business space to work from, whilst incorporated meeting areas will allow homeworkers to meet with clients and suppliers close to their home, whilst maintaining a professional environment.
Customers are able to gain access to the newly introduced Business Hubs through a Regus world card, online via regusdirect.co.uk, or simply by purchasing a pass within a Staples store.
Regus, the world’s largest flexible workspace provider, will trial the hubs at select Staples stores initially, at locations including Swindon, Reading, Sheffield and Birmingham.
The firm is offering the service in order to match the growing trend for mobile working within the UK.
Steve Purdy, UK Managing Director at Regus, says: "Two fifths of Britain’s workers now work half the week or more at locations other than their employer’s main office. Mobiles, tablets and cloud technology make this possible, but workers still need access to office-type facilities – even if it’s just for ten minutes to print, email, think or meet a contact. Car parks, coffee shops and home don’t always do the job. That’s why Regus has chosen to collaborate with Staples UK, the perfect working environment for the mobile worker, offering access to an A-Z of office supplies and services under one roof.”
This new deal with Staples is just the latest for Regus, which recently launched its business lounges at motorway service stations across the South East area in partnership with the Extra Motorway Service Area Group.
Spencer Slee, Director of Staples UK, celebrated the partnership, concluding: "Through our close relationship with our customers, we know that more and more people are working on the move. So, offering drop-in workspace is a natural extension of the business support we give to our customers. Staples have the resource, space and expertise to provide mobile workers with everything they need when working remotely and Regus, with its excellent understanding of flexible and mobile working, is the obvious partner for this."
