Comet’s administrator confirms over 40 store closures, more job losses inevitable
This weekend, administrator of Comet, Deloitte, confirmed it plans to close 41 of the struggling retailer’s stores.
Deloitte revealed last week that unless a buyer could be found for areas of Comet’s business, then it would be forced to axe some of the electrical chains stores.

eBay adds new website section dedicated to Apple certifies refurbished products
eBay has launched a new store section which sees products pass through the same quality inspection as those refurbished devices available through Apple’s own website.
All refurbished Apple devices will come with a full one-year warranty and iPads and iPods will be treated to a brand new battery.
Microsoft opens first permanent non-US store
Microsoft has opened its first ever permanent non-US store in the Yorkdale Shopper Centre in Toronto, Canada.
This is the 31st store opening for the company, and it plans to open 44 permanent stores and 75 pop-up stores by 2014.
‘ARMA 3’ developers arrested in Lemnos
Two members of the ARMA 3 development team have been arrested in the Greek island of Lemnos, accused of gathering intel on the local military facilities.
Ivan Buchta and Martin Pezlar, both developers at Bohemia Interactive, were believed to be carrying out research for the new game.
