iOS6.0.1 introduces system for users to report issues within Apple's mapping service

Apple addresses iOS6 with minor update

The US firm has released the latest update to its under-fire mobile operating system iOS6.

Users have been waiting for an update to the OS ever since its release, which has been heavily criticised by users for its removal of a number of fan-favourite features such as the built-in YouTube app.

iOS6 also staged the introduction of Apple’s own mapping service, which too drew anguish from Apple fans as the app was found to be riddled with bugs and often had trouble locating users accurately.

Apple’s own mapping service was introduced in order to replace the previously used Google Maps, another app favoured by Apple and iOS users.

iOS6.0.1 provides very few new features and tweaks for users.

In fact, the most noticeable change for users adopting the new update is the addition of a large button to Apple’s mapping service, which users can use to report the various bugs and issues they encounter whilst using the service.
