To celebrate the achievements of key figures in the PC and technology retail trade, PCR has created a Special Recognition Award for the PCR Awards.
It will be decided by PCR’s Retail Advisory Panel, a select group of retailers who advise the magazine on important issues in the channel. The members of the panel will be announced later today.
The Special Achievement Award will be given out for the first time at the PCR Awards 2013, which take place on Thursday March 14th at the Royal Garden Hotel in London.
The Panel will consider any UK-based individual active within the IT and technology retail channel who has had dealings with the stores represented by the Panel over the last 12 months.
They will consider factors such as longterm vision, problem-solving, sales performance, attitude and efficiency, innovation, and success within budgetary constraints, as well as achievements throughout their career.
“This is a significant and important addition to the PCR Awards,” commented Lisa Carter, PCR publisher. “We want to celebrate individuals who are a key part of the channel. Our Retail Advisory Panel is ideally placed to select the finalists and ultimately the winner who has had the most impact on their business.”
If you’d like to be considered as a finalist in the PCR Awards, simply create a brief document explaining why you think the nominated person deserves to be a finalist in the category and submit it to Helen.French@intentmedia.co.uk by November 30th.
