Two new devices announced by LG in time for Windows 8 launch

LG sliding tablet and all-in-one PC newest editions to the Windows 8 family

LG joins a long list of PC manufacturers with a Windows 8 lineup announcement.

The LG V325 is a 23-inch touchscreen all-in-one PC with 10-finger multitouch and a digital TV tuner, which allows for standalone TV viewing. Presumably aimed it the living room, it even comes with its own TV remote control.

Packed with an Intel Core i5 processor, Nvidia GeForce GT640M graphics, and support for 3D, LG claims the PC can boot up in half the time of its Windows 7 predecessors.

As well as an all-in-one PC, LG has also unveiled a ‘sliding’ Windows 8 tablet called the H160.

This tablet has an 11.6-inch LCD IPS touchscreen display which can provide 178-degree viewing angles. It features a USB port, HDMI port, microSD card slot, and wifi connectivity.

The LG H160 also comes with a ‘Smart’ touch pen and has a battery life of around 10 hours.

There are currently no details on pricing, but we can expect to find out more info after Windows 8 launches on October 26th.
