The 'experience bus' will educate resellers about Windows 8

Westcoast helps resellers get closer to Microsoft

Westcoast has announced that it will be travelling around the country over the coming months in an ‘experience bus’, to train its resellers on Windows 8 and the latest version of Office.

The double decker bus will be fully kitted out with personalised devices, and will offer full product sales training.

There are 10 training modules available to choose from on the bus including solution selling, partner opportunities and how to make money with Windows 8 and the new Office. What’s more, resellers can also invite their end users along whilst the bus is at their offices, so that the training can also be delivered to them.

Ben Feurtado, Microsoft business manager at Westcoast said: “We are extremely excited about the opportunities this provides for our resellers. Instead of having to send their sales people out of the office to us, we are bringing the training facility to them. Our trainers will be delivering these hands on modules across all areas of Windows 8 and the new Office so that each individual can experience what the new products are capable of.

"Most would agree that having the product you are selling in front of you is far more effective than listening to presentations at an event. This is an exciting year of product launches for Microsoft and Westcoast want to be at the forefront of sharing this with its customers.”
