Four videos, which appear to be TV advertisements for Windows 8, have been leaked onto the internet ahead of Microsoft’s October 26th launch event.
The videos, posted by Israeli site TechIt, focus on various parts of the new operating system, including the modern UI and how users interact with it.
‘Work Hard, Play Hard’ shows Windows 8 on a tablet and across a desktop, demonstrating the use of Microsoft’s SkyDrive cloud.
‘All about The Apps’ delves into the app store and how easy sharing is on the new OS.
‘Make It Yours’ demonstrates the customisation abilities of Windows 8.
There is also a ‘Meet Windows 8’ video which gives a general introduction to the OS and displays its touch screen capabilities.
It is expected that these adverts, along with some for the Surface will make their way onto TV screens and cinemas very soon, as the tablet and Windows 8 will both launch on October 26th.
