PC and Mac versions due in October

Angry Birds spin-off Bad Piggies hits iOS and Android today

Rovio’s much-anticipated Angry Birds spin-off is available from today at Apple’s App Store and Google Play.

Instead of flinging birds at pigs, this new game sees you take charge of building vehicles to get the legless piggies across various landscapes in search of eggs.

The new game costs 69p for the iPhone version and £1.99 for the iPad version. Bad Piggies is free on Android because it is supported by adverts, with no news of a paid premium version at time of writing.

Both versions contain in-app purchases, buying bundles of tokens enables you to pay a pig mechanic to build the perfect vehicle needed for that level.

PC and Mac versions of Bad Piggies will be available in October.
