Ingram Micro UK appoints new head of mobile

Technology distributor Ingram Micro (UK) has hired Matt Bramwell to take up a newly created role as head of category for mobile.

The firm is says it is further investing in telecommunications with Bramwell’s addition to the team, as the mobile division expands.

Bramwell previously worked at Data Select, where he worked as accessory sales manager and national account manager. In total he has over 15 years of experience in the mobile market. 

Mike Farrah, Ingram Micro (UK) commercial director, said: “Matt has been appointed in to this newly created role to lead our drive in the mobile market and fast track the expansion of this business unit as we continue our investment in growth segments”.

Bramwell commented: “I am delighted to have been offered this opportunity having spent many years in mainstream mobile distribution. I am very excited about being part of this global company with the potential for phenomenal growth. There are some aggressive expansion plans happening right now and I am actively recruiting for various roles in order to establish a new team around me”.
