Nokia and Microsoft unveil Lumia 920 Windows Phone 8

In a dedicated webcast held on Wednesday, Nokia and Microsoft showcased the Lumia 920. They’re calling it the Windows Phone 8 flagship device, and according to Nokia EVP Harlow it’s "the most innovative smartphone in the world".

Bruce Willis and Samsung both planning lawsuits against Apple

Since denied by the Willis family, earlier in the week it was reported that Willis was planning to sue Apple if he’s unable to leave his iTunes music library to his family in death. Whether true or not, the story posed interested questions about what it means to own something in this digital age. Oh, and Samsung is suing Apple again.

A new Angry Birds video from developer Rovio teases audiences that ‘something pig is coming’. Time for the pigs to get their revenge, maybe? Or perhaps a new cartoon in the works…

iPhone 5 could see the fastest rollout in Apple’s history

In the past Apple has staggered big product launches, with China having to wait months following a US debut. But China Unicom employees have claimed that the iPhone 5 will launch on the network by the end of the year. If these rumours of a 2012 Chinese release are true, the iPhone 5 could see the fastest rollout in Apple’s history.

Amazon replaces Kindle Touch with Kindle Paperwhite

After rumours that there might be an Amazon phone on the way, a press conference held by the firm on Thursday revealed a new ereader and new tablets instead. The Paperwhite hasn’t got a UK release date yet, but the Kindle Fire HD will be here by the end of October.
