A leaked internal memo from the telecoms provider has surfaced, which tells its employees to sell against the iPhone.
The document, which was leaked by unofficial T-Mobile news site TmoNews, certainly indicates that T-Mobile users within the US will not be getting their hands on the new iPhone 5 once it is released.
Whilst there has yet to be any confirmation from the company if they will indeed be stocking the device or not, it would be a highly questionable move to have employees sell against arguably the most anticipated device of the year, if they were set to stock it themselves.
It also adds further fuel to the iPhone rumour fire, as the memo states that employees should sell against Apple’s smartphone device beginning September 21st – the date highly tipped to be the release date for the iPhone 5.
As we edge closer to September, iPhone rumours are sure to come thick and fast during the build-up to Apple’s scheduled conference on September 12th.
However, there is no confusion over T-Mobile’s mission statement to its employees: don’t sell iPhones.
