High-tech theatre room features Batmobile style seats

Batman fan spends $2m on Dark Knight home theatre

Want to make your friends jealous by owning a high-tech ‘Dark Knight’ home theatre? All you need is a spare $2 million.

Currently being built into the 12,000 sq. ft. home of possibly the biggest/richest Batman fan, the screening room features a 180-inch movie screen, Batman-esque gargoyles and even a cylinder-shaped elevator.

The Dark Night home theatre is a concept by Elite Home Theatre Seating, who has also designed a Pirates of the Caribbean theatre concept as well as a previous Batman inspired room based on the Batcave.

The seats are designed to feel like you’re sitting inside the Batmobile, and there’s even a mock exit created to look like a secret tunnel.

As if all that wasn’t enough, there’s a fake bookcase that opens up to reveal Batman’s Tumbler parked inside.

I for one am very jealous…
