The company has kicked off its Olympic Games campaign with the release of the Galaxy S III – Samsung’s Olympic Games phone.

With the device at the centre of the campaign, it encourages consumers to use the technology and its intuitive characteristics to "inspire, excite and connect" and allows everyone to watch and interact with the Olympics like never before.

Speaking of the campaign, senior vice president of Samsung mobile marketing Younghee Lee said: “Through the Galaxy S III, people all around the world are sharing, experiencing, and taking a part in their own Olympic Games, which corresponds well with the phone’s concept, ‘designed for humans’."

He continued: "Samsung is delighted to be a part of such a special occasion, and through our innovative products we hope to unite people across the globe in their anticipation and celebration of the London 2012 Olympic Games."

The world’s leading phone maker are supporting the campaign with its latest advert which features ambassador for the Olympic Games, David Beckham. In true Beckham fashion, the commercial sees him land a perfect free-kick across a football pitch on a moving gong, which launches an energetic and emotive sequence that shows people from all over the world viewing and sharing the kick through their Galaxy S III.

The advert will air from July 16th in over different countries, including the UK, France and China.
