Both developers will release their new highly anticipated iOS games on the same day.
Angry Birds developer Rovio will release its latest game Amazing Alex on the same day that arch rival indie developer Andreas Illiger will release Tiny Wings 2.
Both bird-based games have been phenomenal successes on Apple’s iOS store. Angry Birds is considered pretty much the most popular game of all time – since the App Store launched anyway. But lets not forget that Tiny Wings was made by a German guy in his bedroom and has sold 5.6 million copies since its release early last year.
Whilst Andreas Illiger has decided to stick with a bird theme and go with a sequel, Rovio has developed a completely new game unassociated with its popular pig-haters.
