Sony has today announced two new Xperia smartphones, both launched on the latest Android platform Ice Cream Sandwich.
The Japanese technology company has dubbed its new Xperia miro the ‘fun social smartphone’. Focusing on the social media side of using a smartphone, the miro includes colourful illuminations for incoming messages and a front facing camera for video chat.
Also included is the pre-installed Music Unlimited, giving users access to a ton of music tracks.

The second smartphone being released by Sony is the Xperia tipo, a more affordable and easy to use phone.
The Xperia tipo is aimed at customers purchasing their first smartphone and includes a dedicated set-up guide.
