Warrington-based distributor VIP Computers has been named as a finalist in the IT Excellence Awards for Distributor of the Year.
The IT Excellence Awards focus on solution providers and systems integrator channels. They’re hosted by IT Europa, which is a provider of strategic business intelligence, news and analysis.
It has named VIP Computers as one of the 49 companies across 17 European countries to have been selected as finalists.
"We are delighted to have been shortlisted for this prestigious industry award; it’s always rewarding to receive acknowledgement for all the hard work that the teams here at VIP Computers put into looking after the interests of our vendors and resellers,” said Dave Stevinson, VIP’s sales director.
Amil Gulamali of Decision Logic who nominated VIP Computers said: “VIP is a true one stop shop for a system integrator which contributes to operational efficiencies and improved purchasing and logistical performance. By working closely with VIP Computers, it has been able to understand our individual business needs and help support our growth plans.”
The winners of the IT Excellence Awards will be announced at a gala dinner on May 30th at the Sheraton Park Lane, London.
