18-year-old computer science student Adam Tonks was the latest ‘winner’ of a an innovative email lottery called "The Listserve" which saw the student have the chance to write an email to 18,000 subscribers.
The Listserve is a massive email list that allows sends out one email a day from someone chosen at random from the list. The concept was launched on the idea of "What would you say to a million other people."
Clearly the project has a long way to go to reach that goal but Adam Tonks was the latest winner and chose his moment of fame to share a couple of easy-to-cook recipes which have apparently gone down a treat with his fellow flatmates.
"I’m a student, and I can’t really cook, so I think the best thing I can do is send out a couple of really simple to make (yet still quite nice) recipes," Tonks said.
The classic recipes are Toad in the Hole, Spicy Beef Meatballs and a recipe for Cookies. All of which err on the side of simplicity.
