PCR Retail Boot Camp: The Break-Out Sessions

Next week’s PCR Retail Boot Camp will feature a host of short focused seminars for dealers throughout the afternoon.

Two strands of sessions will take place concurrently, with all sessions taking place in the Vaults on the lower floor of The Brewery. The timetable will be as follows:

Queens Vault

2.30pm-2.50pm – Westcoast: Horns or a tail – distribution, it’s not the devil you know

Established in 1984, Westcoast has grown to become one of the UK’s premier national wholesale distributors. Its focus on developing its portfolio and customer accounts has seen the Sunday Times Top Track listed company grow its profits year-on-year.

3pm–3.20pm – ARCTIC: This is why you need to explore Arctic

4pm-4.20pm – EntaTech: Distributing IT innovation

3pm–3.30pm – CompTIA: Quick start to cloud computing

CompTIA is a global industry association that took up the reins in the UK after merging with the TCA. It stands as the voice of the worldwide IT industry and specialises in training and accrediting IT retailers and resellers in a myriad of qualifications.

3.40pm-4.00pm – VIP: New retail solutions service

With over 20 years experience in the IT channel, VIP is the UK’s largest independent distributor of PC components, peripherals and accessories. Its motto of ‘Together we deliver’ forms the core of its business strategy of working closely with its reseller and retail clients to ensure mutual success.

4:10pm-4.30pm – GData: Securing your future from banking Trojans

Although it’s one of the more recent entrants in to the UK security market, with over 25 years of experience in its market, G Data is one of the longest running security firms around. Its focus on incorporating world leading detection technologies in to its software have kept the accolades rolling in for G Data.

Meanwhile Micro-P will be presenting hourly talks in the James Watt Room detailing how retailers can reap the rewards offered by the Connected Home.

PCR Retail Boot Camp, powered by Innergie, is an exciting new conference and expo for the UK PC and IT channel, taking place on Wednesday May 2nd at The Brewery, Chiswell Street, London. It is free for retailers to attend and will provide a day of conference sessions, expo showcases and networking – all designed to help dealers improve their business. In addition, all dealers who attend the event will go home with a VIP Gift Bag, including an Apple TV, worth £99.
