In these challenging economic times, retailers have to do all they can to keep their position on the High Street. Upcoming event PCR Retail Boot Camp is all about improving business, and as part of its remit ‘Retail Champion’ Clare Raynor will be giving a presentation during the conference – ‘The 10 Steps to Retail Success.’
PCR Retail Boot Camp – a conference and expo for the PC and IT channel, is taking place on Wednesday May 2nd at The Brewery, Chiswell Street, London.
Clare Rayner will be explaining her ten steps to retail success methodology at the event.
The goal is to enable retail owners, whether starting up or already trading, online only or multi-channel, to develop robust and repeatable processes and systems to create scalable, saleable enterprises.
The ten steps include:
• Defining your Goal and Mission
• Deciding your Positioning
• Identifying your Ideal Customer
• Creating your Range Plan
• Implementing your Pricing and promotional policy
• Developing your Channel & Location strategy
• Designing your Customer Engagement processes
• Determining your Sourcing & Supply chain model
• Planning & Controlling your business
• Setting up an effective Back office
It will be a fast-paced presentation, targeted squarely at helping people grow business.
Other speakers at the PCR Retail Boot Camp include the BBC’s Penny Haslam, GfK’s Carl West and Micro-P’s Mike Harris.
The Boot Camp is free for retailers to attend, and all dealers who go will receive a VIP Gift Bag, including a free Apple TV.
As well as the conference and expo, there will be a series of ‘Break-Out Sessions’ during the afternoon, giving distributors and vendors the opportunity to present technical or service sessions with smaller groups of dealers.
