The PCR Retail Boot Camp conference programme continues to take shape, with Micro-P’s head of independent retail lining up a powerful presentation designed to help dealers find profitable new revenue streams.
Mike Harris’ session, ‘There’s No Place Like The Connected Home’, will examine the digital home opportunities. “We recognize that with over 17 million internet televisions sold last year, the time for independent retailers to embrace the Connected Home and the increased revenue streams it can bring, is now,” he explains.
“The huge consumer demand for streaming photos, music and film throughout the house over a network has created a fantastic opportunity for all retailers who embrace the Connected Home and the connected sale approach.”
PCR Retail Boot Camp is an exciting new conference and expo for the UK PC and IT channel, taking place on Wednesday May 2nd at The Brewery, Chiswell Street, London. It is free for retailers to attend and will provide a day of conference sessions, expo showcases and networking – all designed to help dealers improve their business.
In addition, there will be a series of ‘Break-Out Sessions’ during the afternoon, giving distributors and vendors the opportunity to present technical or service sessions with smaller groups of dealers.
Meanwhile, an after-show party, sponsored by VIP, will provide networking opportunities to round off the day’s events.
