AMD has released a new Catalyst 11.11b ‘performance’ video driver which adds support for CrossfireX in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Keeping up the rapid-fire release schedule, owners of multiple Radeon cards can now view Bethesda’s epic scale RPG with a suitable boost in performance. The release also cites 2-7 per cent performance boost but that’s presumably the same as 11.11a.
There’s no word if it fixes the juddering when using fire spells in the snow, or if random textures not loading or video driver crashes to desktop are also resolved.
