Virgin offer six months of Spotify Premium on new sign-ups

Virgin Media is set to offer Spotify Premium to new customers for six months free of charge.

The deal requires users to sign up to a broadband package of 30Mbps or greater on a 12 month contract. Existing customers can also take advantage of the offer if they upgrade package or sign up to a new 12 month contract.

The pro version of the music streaming service costs £9.99 a month making the deal worth nearly £60. "With Spotify there are no limits to the amount of music you can listen to. Just help yourself to whatever you want, whenever you want it," Virgin announced.

"Great digital services are no longer just about fast broadband or the latest TV technology, but increasingly about how people use their services to power and excite their daily lives," said Virgin digital entertainment boss Cindy Rose.

"Bringing together Virgin Media services with brilliant entertainment such as Spotify is a core part of our ongoing strategy and we’re excited to be able to lead the way with such a great partnership."
