This Halloween, the IT trade is invited to go spider hunting on the Target Components website.
Target’s website has been infested with spiders and needs (logged-in) customers to hunt them down.
If customers collect all 50 spiders, they receive a prize. All orders over £400 will receive a trick-or-treat.
Website marketing executive Cory Lees said: "We wanted to give something back to our customers and just putting plastic spiders in parcels seems a bit cliched. We want our customers to have fun when they visit the Target website and this seemed to fit with our customers’ sense of humour."
Target reported that when it launched the game, it immediately saw a surge in web traffic.
