World number two PC builder Lenovo has unveiled a new all-in-one PC based with a multi-touch display called the Essential C325.
Fitted with AMD’s dual-core 1.66GHz ‘Brazos’ E450 processor and a 20-inch touch screen with an ‘extra stable’ full-metal stand, the Essential C325 will also be available with up to a 1TB hard drive and 8GB of RAM.
Using AMD’s desktop Fusion APU with integrated Radeon graphics, Lenovo said the all-in-one provides easy access to hard drives and memory for simple upgrades, an area that has been a weak area of all-in-one devices in the past.
Other optional features include a TV tuner, USB 3.0 and DVD reader/writer. HDMI, integrated webcam and 6-in-1 card reader come as standard.
The Essential C325 will arrive in November 2011 and will be available in black and white versions. US pricing starts at $700 via the Lenovo store.
It’s not known what the pricing will be elsewhere or what configurations will be offered but Lenovo confirmed the C325 is destined for markets worldwide.
