To hit UK shores imminently

IFA: Toshiba AT100 10.1-inch Android 3.1 tablet

Toshiba announced the launch of the Toshiba AT100 10.1-inch tablet with the device set to arrive in the UK on the first of September.

Packing the standard Android 3.1 and 1Ghz Tegra 2 CPU as the other Honeycomb tablets on the market, the AT100 is Toshiba’s rest-of-world name for the Toshiba Thrive tablet. Obviously outside of the US such thriving would be frowned upon.

Be that as it may the 765g tablet packs in HDMI, USB and SD card reader with a removable battery good for 7-hours. So it’s like all the other Android 3.1 tablets only late and with some extra ports on it.

They’ll also be some accessories to follow in October including the AT100 Multi-Dock with HDMI, AT100 Cover which doubles as a standard, replacement battery packs and AC adaptors.

Toshiba didn’t release any UK pricing but the Thrive has gone on sale in the US for around $400.
