As the Midwich Group gets ready for its very own Technology Exposed event, Andrew Wooden finds out what?s going to be in store for visitors...

High exposure

THE MIDWICH GROUP will host its third Technology Exposed reseller event at Ascot Racecourse on September 21st and 22nd, and around 80 of the world’s leading brands have already signed up.

Midwich will be taking a slightly different approach compared to most reseller/retailer events – there will be no trade pricing on display, so resellers are being actively encouraged to bring along their customers. There’s no attendance charge for resellers or their customers.

Global consumer names like Samsung, Canon and Panasonic will be there, alongside more specialised, niche brands such as Radvision videoconferencing, Atlona digital connectivity and Magenta.

A wide range of products will be represented, including projection, large format displays, consumer electronics, digital signage, home automation, video conferencing, 3D technology, print and imaging, barcoding, pro audio and IP security solutions.

Alex Ward, commercial director at Midwich, said: “All our high profile print vendors will be attending the event again this year, each with unique offerings including reseller campaigns and support to aid resellers in growing their businesses within this category.

“Since last year, we’ve not only grown the print sales support team at Midwich, but added two new key print brands to the portfolio, Dell and Panasonic, which will be exhibiting this time too.”

WHAT KEY EXHIBITORS WILL BE SHOWING OFF

Epson will be showing new entry level projector models that will be launching in September, its 3D Home Cinema projector, and interactive projectors which work in conjunction with interactive white boards.
