Headset specialist Plantronics announced the launch of a new range of proessional Bluetooth headsets including the Voyager Pro UC Bluetooth featuring a ‘smart sensor’.
The Voyager Pro UC is able to perform certain tasks automatically which the firm said "transforms the end-user experience for mobile phone and PC communications."
Among the capabilities of the Voyager Pro UC is the ability to automatically answer by placing the the headset on the ear, transfering calls when a headset is not being worn by a user and an auto call button lock feature to avoid dialing numbers when the heatset is not being worn.
"The Plantronics Voyager Pro UC unifies and simplifies communications for today’s connected and increasingly distributed workforce by enabling accurate availability information and delivering intuitive features like smart call transfer," said Plantronics senioer veep Renee Niemi.
The Plantronics Voyager Pro UC is available now in the US for $199.95 and will launch in Europe and Asia in February.
